Your long-term forecast:  Our heat wave will likely break towards the end of the work-week as intruding cold air from the north will push the warmest air back south.  However, showers and thunderstorms will be possible throughout the timeframe.  Highs will be in the mid to upper 70s Thursday and Saturday, but could only reach the upper 60s on Friday.  Lows for the period will range from the lower 50s to lower 60s.
