Summary:  An area of high pressure to our north will help mitigate temperatures for the next couple of days, though we could see the remnants of a nearby thunderstorm system drift over our region tomorrow night.

Tonight:  Partly sunny with highs in the mid 70s and winds out of the northeast at 10 to 15 MPH.

Thursday:  Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 70s and winds out of the east at 5 to 10 MPH.

Thursday night:  Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Lows will be in the upper 60s with light and variable winds.

Your long-term forecast:  This weekend will see a return to warmer temperatures for our region, and while there is a slight chance for stormy weather on Saturday, Sunday and Monday are expected to remain fairly dry.  Highs for the period will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s, with lows in the mid to upper 70s.
