Summary:  Stormy weather could be a re-occurring theme this weekend with several chances for showers and thunderstorms through Sunday.  And while we’ve been given a slight reprieve from the oppressive heat this morning, temperatures will generally be on the rise. 

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Lows will be in the mid 70s with light and variable winds. 

Saturday:  Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Highs will be in the upper 80s with light and variable winds.

Saturday night:  Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms.  Lows will be in the mid 70s with light and variable winds.

Sunday:  Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.  Highs will be in the low 90s with lows in the upper 60s.

Your long-term forecast:  The next work week will start off a bit cooler, but it’s not expected to stay that way.  And while Monday will remain dry, there will be a chance of showers and thunderstorms Tuesday and Wednesday.  Highs for the period will generally be increasing from the low 80s to the low 90s, with lows also increasing from the mid 60s to mid 70s.
