Summary:  As an upper-level low pressure system remains in place over the great lakes region, numerous showers are expected throughout the weekend with a slight chance of thunderstorms on Saturday, which if they form may produce some small hail. 

Tonight:  Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers.  Lows will be in the mid 40s with light and variable winds. 

Saturday:  Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the morning, then scattered showers likely with some thunderstorms possible in the afternoon.  Highs will be in the lower 60s with light and variable winds.

Saturday night:  Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers.  Lows will be in the upper 40s with light and variable winds.

Sunday:  Mostly cloudy with a chance of light showers in the morning, and a good chance of scattered showers in the afternoon, evening, and overnight hours.  Daytime highs will be in the lower 60s with overnight lows in the lower 50s.

Your long-term forecast:  As we enter the next work-week, there will be a slight chance that showers over our region will continue for Monday and Tuesday, though Wednesday is expected to remain dry.  Daytime highs for the period will be in the mid 60s to lower 70s, with overnight lows generally remaining steady in the lower 50s.
