Summary:  Temperatures have already become significantly colder than they were this morning thanks to a low-pressure system moving across our region, and in this system’s wake we can expect continued cold and windy conditions this afternoon and evening, with some light rain and possibly even some light snow.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy and windy with lows around 30.  Winds will be out of the west at 10 to 20 with gusts up to 35 possible.

Thursday:  Partly cloudy with a slight chance of rain and snow showers.  Highs will be around 40 with winds out of the west at 10 to 15 MPH.

Thursday night:  Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 20s and winds out of the west at 10 to 15 MPH.

Your long-term forecast:  Temperatures are expected to warm back up slightly over the weekend, but while Saturday is expected to remain dry, there will be a few chances for some light showers Sunday and Monday.  Daytime highs for the period will be in the mid to upper 50s, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 40s.
