Summary:  While the weather for the short-term will remain fairly benign, a cold front will push through northern Illinois this evening leaving us with cooler than average temperatures for the next couple of days. 

Tonight:  Clear with lows around 30 and winds out of the northwest at 10 to 15 MPH. 

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 40s and winds out of the west at 10 to 20 MPH.

Wednesday night:  Mostly clear with lows in the upper 20s and winds out of the west at 5 to 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast:  Temperatures over the weekend will likely rise above average for this time of year, but while Friday is expected to remain dry, there will be a chance of showers Saturday and Sunday.  Daytime highs for the period will range from the mid 40s to the mid 50s, with overnight lows generally decreasing from the low 40s to the lower 30s.
