Summary:  Meteorological winter starts tomorrow, and even though there will be a slight chance of snow tomorrow night, we can expect our entrance into winter to be rather benign.

Tonight:  Partly cloudy with lows in the mid 20s and winds out of the southwest at 5 to 10 MPH.

Thursday:  Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 40s and winds out of the southwest at 5 to 10 MPH.

Thursday night:  Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of some light snow after midnight.  Lows will be in the upper 20s with winds out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH.

Your long-term forecast:  This weekend will be a mixed bag of precipitation, with a good chance of rain falling as early as Saturday afternoon, which could turn over to snow after midnight.  Light snow or rain will likely continue into Sunday, with conditions expected to improve, though becoming colder, by Sunday night and for Monday.  Daytime highs for the period will be decreasing from the low 40s to the lower 30s, with overnight lows also decreasing from the mid 30s to the lower 20s.
