Summary:  While it looks like we’ve managed to avoid any wintery precipitation, some light rain is still expected over parts of northern Illinois through tomorrow morning.

Tonight:  Cloudy with a chance of light rain or drizzle.  Lows will be in the mid 30s with light and variable winds.

Wednesday:  Mostly cloudy with a chance of rain in the morning.  Highs will be in the lower 40s with winds out of the west at 5 to 10 MPH.

Wednesday night:  Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 20s and winds out of the southwest at 5 to 10 MPH.

Your long-term forecast:  The possibility of a white Christmas is still up in the air as there exists a slight chance of snow on Saturday while Friday and Sunday look to remain dry.  Daytime highs for the period will be in the low to mid 30s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 20s.
