Tuesday, January 2012

Summary:  Tomorrow will be another unseasonably pleasant day before we become reminded that this is still winter with cooler temperatures and possible snowfall as early as tomorrow night.

Tonight:  Clear with lows in the lower 30s and gentle winds out of the south.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40s and light and variable winds.

Wednesday night:  Partly cloudy in the evening becoming cloudy overnight, with a slight chance of snow showers in the pre-dawn hours.  Lows will be in the upper 20s with winds out of the northwest at 5 to 10 MPH.

Your long-term forecast:  While the end of the week looks to remain free from snowfall, temperatures Friday through Sunday will be much more like winter than what we’ve seen recently.  Daytime highs for the period will be generally increasing from around 20 to the low 30s, with overnight lows also increasing from the low teens to the lower 20s.
