Summary:  A winter storm warning is currently in effect for northern Illinois, as snow will continue to fall through the evening with a total 4 to 7 inches expected. 

Tonight:  Snow in the evening with some light snow showers possible after midnight.  Lows will be in the mid teens with winds out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH. 

Saturday:  Cloudy in the morning becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon, with a slight chance of some light snow.  Highs will be in the mid 20s with winds out of the east at 5 to 10 MPH.

Saturday night:  Partly cloudy with lows in the mid teens and winds out of the southeast at 10 to 15 MPH.

Sunday:  Cloudy with a chance of light rain or snow.  Daytime highs will be in the upper 30s with overnight lows in the mid 20s. 


Your long-term forecast:  The next work week could start off with some wet weather as Monday will have a chance of some light rain or snow, however Tuesday and Wednesday will likely remain dry.  Daytime highs for the period will range from the mid 20s to the mid 30s, with overnight lows generally increasing from the upper teens to the mid 20s.
