Summary: Seasonally appropriate temperatures will remain over northern Illinois for the next couple of days, with stormy weather likely for tomorrow night.

Tonight: Clear with some patchy areas of frost possible after midnight. Lows will be in the mid 30s with winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 50s and winds out of the east at around 10 MPH.  

Thursday night: Partly cloudy in the evening becoming cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely after midnight.Lows will be in the lower 40s with winds out of the southeast at 5 to 15 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: The first half of the weekend is expected to be relatively pleasant, with warm and benign conditions Saturday into Sunday, however there will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Sunday night through Monday. Daytime highs for the period will range from the low 60s to the upper 70s, with overnight lows in the mid 40s to the mid 50s.
