Summary: A few storms will make their way through northern Illinois late tonight which may persist through tomorrow, with generally pleasant conditions expected for Sunday.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms after midnight. Lows will be in the mid 50s with winds gradually shifting from the southwest to the northwest at 5 to 10 MPH.

Saturday: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 60s with winds out of the northeast at around 10 MPH.  

Saturday night: Mostly cloudy with lows in the upper 40s and winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 MPH.  

Sunday: Partly cloudy with daytime highs in the upper 60s and overnight lows in the upper 40s.


Your long-term forecast: A fairly pleasant start to next week is expected, with calm conditions and seasonally appropriate temperatures persisting from Monday through Wednesday. Daytime highs for the period will be in the low to min 70s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 50s.
