Summary: After a warm and windy afternoon, a few showers and thunderstorms will be possible tonight, with more pleasant conditions returning for tomorrow before we get another shot at storms tomorrow night.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstormsand lows in the lower 60s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10 to 20 MPH, gusting up to 30 at times in the evening, shifting from the northwest at 5 to 10 MPH by the predawn hours.

Friday: Mostly sunny with highs in the lower 80s and light and variable winds.  

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 60s with winds out of the east at 5 to 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: Next week will start off with temperatures nearly 20 degrees above average, but will cool to something closer to normal by mid-week. And while the weather will remain fairly benign Sunday and Tuesday, there will be a good chance of showers and thunderstorms during Memorial Day. Daytime highs for the period will generally be decreasing from the mid 90s to the upper 70s, with overnight lows also decreasing from the low 70s to the mid 50s.
