Summary: Tomorrow will be hot! A heat advisory has already been issued for tomorrow as temperatures are expected to reach triple digits, with a heat index of 110 degrees possible.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the lower 70s. Winds will be out of the southwest at 10 to 15 MPH, with gusts up to 30 possible.

Thursday: Partly cloudy and hot with highs of 101 to 105 and winds out of the northwest at 10 to 15 MPH.  

Thursday night: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the upper 70s with winds gradually shifting from the northwest to the north at 5 to 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: As warmer than average temperatures persist into next week, Saturday through Monday will each have a slight chance for showers and thunderstorms across parts of northern Illinois. Daytime highs for the period will generally remain in the low 90s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 70s.
