Summary: Our heat wave will continue into the weekend, as heat indices of around 110 will be likely for both this afternoon and tomorrow.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the upper 70s. Windswill be out of the west at 5 to 10 MPH in the evening, becoming light and variable after midnight.

Friday: Mostly sunny and hot with highs of 101 to 105. Winds will be light and variable in the morning, then coming from the southwest at 5 to 10 MPH in the afternoon.  

Friday night: Mostly clear in the evening becoming partly cloudy overnight. Lows will be in the mid 70s with winds out of the southwest at 5 to 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: A cold front passing from the north will bring some relief from the heat by the start of next week, but while there will be a slight chance of a few showers and thunderstorms on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are expected to remain dry. Daytime highs for the period will be in the low to mid 80s, with overnight lows remaining fairly steady in the mid 60s.
