Summary: The next few days will remain fairly uneventful, with temperatures that are well in line with the seasonal averages.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the mid 60s and winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 MPH.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s and winds out of the northeast at 10 to 15 MPH.  

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with lows in the lower 60s. Winds will be out of the northeast at 5 to 10 MPH in the evening, becoming light and variable overnight.

Your long-term forecast: Temperatures across northern Illinois will continue to be near the average for this time of year, and while Thursday will remain dry, there will be a slight chance of some showers and thunderstorms Friday into Saturday. Daytime highs for the period will be in the upper 80s to the lower 90s, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 60s.
