Summary: Pleasant weather and seasonably appropriate temperatures are expected to persist for much of the weekend, with only a slight chance of storms late Sunday night.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s and winds out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH.

Saturday: Mostly sunny with highs in the mid 80s and winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 MPH.  

Saturday night: Mostly clear with lows in the mid 60s. Winds will be out of the east at 5 to 10 MPH in the evening, becoming light and variable after midnight.  

Sunday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the late evening and overnight. Daytime highs will be in the mid80s with overnight lows of around 70.


Your long-term forecast: Some wet weather may be returning to northern Illinois for the first half of next week, as Monday through Wednesday will each have a chance for showers and thunderstorms. Daytime highs for the period will remain fairly steady in the upper 80s, with overnight lows in the upper 60s to the lower 70s.
