Summary: A few storms will be possible over northern Illinois tonight, and may produce high winds if they occur, however they are expected to clear out by morning.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Lows will be in the lower 70s with winds generally out of the southwest at 5 to 10 MPH in the evening, becoming light and variable overnight.

Tuesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s and winds out of the north at around 10 MPH.  

Tuesday night: Mostly clear with lows in the upper 60s and light and variable winds.


Your long-term forecast: There will be a few opportunities for some wet weather towards the end of the week, with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms Thursday and Friday, anda better chance of storms on Saturday. Daytime highs for the period will be in the mid to upper 80s, with overnight lows in the upper 60s to the lower 70s.
