Summary: While tonight will be a calm and pleasant evening, there will be a slight possibility for some storms over northern Illinois tomorrow, with mild conditions returning for tomorrow night.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the mid 60s. Winds will be light and variable in the evening, then coming from the southwest at 5 to 10 in the pre-dawn hours.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the low 90s with winds out of the southwest at around 10 MPH.  

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy in the evening, becoming clear overnight. Lows will be in the upper 60s with winds out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: An upper level disturbance will traverse the Great Lakes region later this week, which may result in some showers and thunderstorms Thursday into Friday, while calm conditions are expected to return by Saturday. Daytime highs for the period will range from the upper 70s to the low 80s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 60s.
