Summary: While a cold front will progress through the Great Lakes region tomorrow night, a few storms will be possible in Northern Illinois earlier in the day.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the upper 60s. Winds will be out of the east at 5 to 10 MPH in the early evening, gradually shifting to be from the south overnight.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the upper 80s with winds out of the southwest at 10 to 15 MPH.  

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the evening, then clearing overnight. Lows will be in the lower 60swith winds out of the northwest at around 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: Northern Illinois could see some wet weather as we lead into the weekend, with a chance of showers on Friday and Saturday while Saturday night and Sunday will likely remain dry.Daytime highs for the period will be in the low to mid 70s, with overnight lows in the mid to upper 50s.
