Summary: Some showers and thunderstorms will be possible this afternoon, and may becomesevere, but will likely move out of the Chicago region by midnight. And while tomorrow will be cool and pleasant, there may be additional storms in northern Illinois late tomorrow night.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the evening, becoming clear overnight. Lows will be in the lower 60s with winds out of the northwest at 5 to 10 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly sunny with highs in the low 80s. Winds will be out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH in the morning, becoming light and variable by the late afternoon.  

Thursday night: Mostly clear in the evening becoming partly cloudy with a slight chance of showers after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 60s with winds out of the south to southeast at 5 to 10 MPH.

Your long-term forecast: Some wet weather will be possible over the weekend as well have a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday, however Monday is expected to remain dry. Daytime highs for the period will be in the low to mid 70s, with overnight lows in the low to mid 50s.
