Summary: A rather potent cold front will sweep across the Great Lakes region tomorrow, bringing with it some stormy weather and notably cooler temperatures.

Friday: Mostly cloudy with showers and thunderstorms likely. Highs will be in the mid 70s with light and variable winds in the morning, then coming from the northwest at 10 to 15 MPH by the afternoon.

Friday night: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers. Lows will be in the mid 50s with winds out of the north at around 10 MPH.

Your long-term forecast: The start of next week is expected to be largely uneventful thanks to an area of high pressure dominating much of the Midwest, which will lead tobenign conditions lasting Sunday through Tuesday. Daytime highs for the period will be increasing slightly from the low to upper 70s, with overnight lows also increasing from the low to upper 50s.
