Summary: Abnormally warm temperatures have returned to northern Illinois, with tomorrow expected to be 10 degrees above average before a cold front approaches late tomorrow night.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the upper 50s and winds out of the south at 10 to 15 MPH.

Wednesday: Mostly sunny with highs in the upper 80s and winds out of the south at 10 to 15 MPH.  

Wednesday night: Mostly clear in the evening becoming partly cloudy overnight. Lows will be in the lower 60s with winds out of the south at 5 to 10 MPH, becoming light and variable in the pre-dawn hours.


Your long-term forecast: There is a distinct possibility that well see some wet weather towards the end of the week as there will be a good chance of rain on Friday and a slight chance of rain on Saturday, with conditions improving for Saturday night and Sunday. Daytime highs will generally be increasing from the upper 60s to the upper 70s, with overnight lows remaining fairly steady in the mid 50s.
