Summary: The leading edge of a cold front has already passed through northern Illinois, and a few showers will be possible later today, with clear yet notably cooler conditions expected for tomorrow.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the evening, becoming clear overnight. Lows will be in the upper 40s with winds out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH early, becoming light and variable by midnight.

Friday: Sunny with highs in the mid 70s and winds out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH.  

Friday night: Clear with lows in the upper 40s and light and variable winds.


Your long-term forecast: The weather next week will start off rather pleasant, with warmand calm conditions on Sunday, however there will be a chance of showers and a slight chance of thunderstorms from Monday afternoon into Tuesday. Daytime highs for the period will generally decreasing from the upper 70s to the mid 60s, with overnightlows also decreasing from the mid 50s to the lower 40s.
