Summary: Temperatures throughout northern Illinois will stay abnormally cool for at least the next few days, but after some possible showers tonight the rest of the weekend is expected to remain dry.

Tonight: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of showers in the evening, becoming mostly clear overnight. Lows will be in the lower 30s with winds out of the west at 5 to 15 MPH.

Saturday: Mostly sunny in the morning, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s with winds out of the northwest at 10 to 15 MPH.  

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the mid 30s and winds out of the northwest at 5 to 10 MPH.  

Sunday: Partly cloudy in the morning, becoming mostly clear for the afternoon and evening. Daytime highs will be in the lower 50s, with overnight lows in the mid 30s.


Your long-term forecast: The weather at the start of next week is expected to be fairly uneventful, with slightly cool but otherwise benign conditions Monday through Wednesday. Daytime highs for the period will range from the upper 50s to the mid 60s, with overnight lows in the upper 30s to the mid 40s.
