Summary: A cold front will be pushing through northern Illinois late tomorrow night, bringing with it a slight drop in temperatures as well as a few possible showers.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the mid 40s and winds out of the south at 10 to 15 MPH.

Tuesday: Partly sunny and windy with highs in the upper 60s and winds out of the southwest at 15 to 25 MPH, with gusts up to 35 possible.  

Tuesday night: Cloudy with showers likely in the evening, becoming partly cloudy after midnight. Lows will be in the upper 30s with winds out of the west at 10 to 15 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: The weather for Thursday and Friday will be relatively pleasant, but a low pressure system traversing the Great Lakes region over the weekend will likely result in a few showers and some possible thunderstorms Friday night through Saturday. Daytime highs for the period will range from the upper 50s to the mid 60s, with overnight lows generally increasing from the upper 30s to the lower 50s.
