Summary: An area of high pressure over much of the Midwest region will help to keep temperatures throughout northern Illinois roughly ten degrees below average,and the weather otherwise benign throughout the weekend.

Tonight: Mostly clear with lows in the lower 30s and winds out of the north at around 10 MPH.

Saturday: Mostly sunny in the morning, becoming partly cloudy in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s with winds out of the north at around 10 MPH.  

Saturday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the lower 30s and winds out of the north at 5 to 10 MPH.  

Sunday: Partly cloudy with daytime highs in the upper 40s and overnight lows in the lower 30s.

Your long-term forecast: The weather is expected to remain fairly uneventful as we head into next week, with cool but otherwise mild conditions Monday through Wednesday. Temperatures will continue to be about ten degrees below average throughout the period with daytime highs in the mid to upper 40s and overnight lows in the low to mid 30s.
