Summary: Hurricane Sandy, which is currently located off the coast of New Jersey, is so large in size that it will actually have an impact on us,by sustaining windy conditions and by helping to pull cold air down from the north, which will keep us roughly 10 degrees cooler than average for the next couple of days.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the mid 30s and winds out of the northwest at 10 to 20 MPH, gusting up to 35 at times.

Tuesday: Partly cloudy with highs in the upper 40s. Winds will be out of the northwest at 15 to 25 MPH with gusts up to 35.  

Tuesday night: Partly cloudy with lows in the lower 30s. Winds will be out of the northwest at 10 to 20 MPH with gusts up to 30.

Your long-term forecast: The weather leading into the weekend is expected to remain fairly uneventful, with slightly cool but otherwise benign conditions Thursday through Saturday. Daytime highs for the period will be in the upper 40s to the low 50s, with overnight lows generally remaining in the 30s.
