Summary: The weather over the next few days will feel a bit dreary, with slightly cooler than average temperatures, generally cloudy skies and a good chance of some light rain for tomorrow.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the lower 30s and calm winds.

Tuesday: Cloudy with a chance of light rain in the morning, becoming likely in the afternoon. Highs will be in the upper 40s with winds out of the southwest at around 10 MPH.  

Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy with a slight chance of some light showers. Lows will be in the lower 30s with winds generally out of the west at 5 to 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: An area of high pressure will be present over the Mississippi River Valley during the middle of the week, resulting in relatively benign conditions for Illinois on Thursday, but as the high pressure moves off to the east there will be a slight chance of showers Friday and Saturday. Daytime highs for the period will generally be increasing from the low 50s to the low 60s, with overnight lows also increasing from the mid 30s to the lower 50s.
