Summary: A few lingering showers will be possible tonight before conditions improve for tomorrow, although temperatures will remain slightly below average for the next couple of days.

Tonight: Scattered showers in the evening with patchy drizzle after midnight. Lows will be in the upper 30s with light and variable winds.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 40s and winds out of the northeast at 5 to 10 MPH.  

Wednesday night: Partly cloudy in the evening becoming mostly clear but with patchy areas of fog after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 30s with calm winds.


Your long-term forecast: Temperatures will be warming up throughout Illinois as we head into the weekend, but while Friday will remain dry, there will be a slight chance of showers on Saturday into early Sunday, with showers becoming likely with a slight possibility of a few thunderstorms Sunday evening and overnight. Daytime highs for the period will generally be increasing from the mid 50s to the low 60s, with overnight lows ranging from the mid 40s to the low 50s.
