Summary: The weather will remain relatively benign through tomorrow, but there will be a good chance for some light rainfall across northern Illinois tomorrow night.

Tonight: Partly cloudy with lows in the lower 30s and winds out of the southeast at 10 to 15 MPH.

Thursday: Mostly cloudy with highs in the mid 40s and winds out of the south at 10 to 15 MPH.  

Thursday night: Cloudy with showers likely after midnight. Lows will be in the lower 40s with winds out of the southwest at 5 to 10 MPH.


Your long-term forecast: Numerous chances for wet weather will exist from Saturday through Monday, with rain being the primary precipitation type during the weekend, but sub-freezing temperatures may allow for some snowfall in the overnight hours as well as during the day Monday. Daytime highs for the period will generally be decreasing from the mid 40s to the upper 30s, with overnight lows also decreasing from the mid 30s to the mid 20s.
